The Hart baseball team swept a pair of close games from Mason County Eastern in non-league action on Tuesday night.
The Pirates won the opener 5-2. Freshmen Ty Schukebir, playing in his first varsity game, had two hits, including a double, scored two runs, stole a base and had an RBI.
Carter Ramseyer, another freshman in his first game, had an RBI single and stole a base.
Hart won the nightcap 4-3. Schukebir, Ramseyer, Kody Charron and Jake Gordon scored the runs for the Pirates.
