The Fruitport softball team fell 8-7 at Allendale in an O-K Blue conference clash on Tuesday night.
The teams were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader, but the second game was postponed until May 13 due to lightning.
The Trojans found themselves down 7-0 after two innings of play on Tuesday before posting a big rally.
Fruitport cut the deficit to 7-2 after four innings of play before a five-run sixth inning tied the game at 7-7.
Allendale scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to gain the walk-off win.
The Trojan offense finished with 12 hits in the game. Kalli Tawney, Kendall Lee, Kya Tawney and Ashton Olson all had two hits. Olson also had two runs batted in.
Fruitport is now 4-5 overall and 1-4 in conference play.
The Trojans will visit Ludington on Thursday for a non-conference doubleheader.
