The Fruitport volleyball team started the season with a few questions, after losing two top players from last year, one to graduation and one to injury.

So far, however, the Trojans have been quite good.

Porter Johnson led the defense with 32 digs, Hanson-Wilbur had 30 and Stroup added 18.

“Tonight was another great showing for our team,” said Fruitport Coach Nicole Bayle. “Our serving was a huge weapon for us tonight. This group of ladies is doing a great job learning to work together and finding ways to win, and we are even having a little fun doing it.”
