The Fruitport boys basketball team has won 13 games in a row, and is showing no signs of losing steam.
Sophomore Dexter Lillmars pumped in 29 points to lead the Trojans to an easy 79-52 victory over Godwin Heights on Monday in an O-K Silver conference clash.
The game was close after one quarter, with Fruitport leading 14-9, then the Trojans pulled away.

Fruitport led 34-16 at halftime and 66-33 after three quarters before waltzing to the win in the fourth.
The Trojans helped their own cause by going 17-for-24 from the free throw line.
Lillmars added nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. DayDay Williams amassed 18 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists while freshman Garrett Olson totaled 16 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks.’
“Tonight we attacked the basket and played well in transition,” said Fruitport head coach Steve Erny. “We did not shoot particularly well from the perimeter, but we found our way into the paint and to the free throw line, which has been a winning formula for us this year.

“Dexter Lillmars scored what felt like a quiet 29 points, finding his way into the paint and working hard on the offensive boards. DayDay Williams was just three assists away from a triple double. He found the open man early and often tonight, and attacked the boards all game, finishing with 13 rebounds.
“Garrett Olson had one of his best games of the season as well, adding that additional scoring punch but also being really active on defense and around the basket.”
The Trojans are now 15-2 overall and 9-0 in the conference standings.
