The Fruitport boys bowling team did not get rusty during its long layoff.
The Trojans returned to action on Monday after a 13-day layoff and did not skip a beat, downing Hopkins 28-2 in an O-K Silver conference match.
The Trojans are now 9-1 overall on the season, and remain in first place in the conference standings with a 7-1 mark.

The match was a rout from the beginning, with Fruitport sweeping the baker round and grabbing a 10-0 lead.
The Trojans also swept the first regular game, winning the four team points and all five individual points. Dylan Winskas, Peyton Wirt, Corbin Judd, Bradley Dekker and Keenan Camp all posted victories in their individual matchups.
Wirt had the high score in the first game with a 189.
Fruitport also won the second regular game and claimed the four team points, as well as three of the five individual points. Wirt, Remy Parker and Hunter Meister won their individual matchups.
Meister, usually a junior varsity bowler, had the high score of 194.
