The Fruitport wrestling team demonstrated some dominance in two easy victories on Wednesday night, and picked up a conference win in the process.
The Trojans downed Comstock Park 64-12 in an O-K Silver Conference dual match, and also rolled past Grand Rapids Christian 74-6 in non-conference action.
Fruitport improved to 10-6 overall and 2-0 in the conference standings.

“Another great night of wrestling!” said Fruitport head coach Chad Johnson. “The team competed hard and picked up a conference win. We’re excited to head to Williamston this Saturday for a big tournament. Looking forward to two solid days of practice to tighten things up and keep getting better.”
A long list of Trojans registered two victories on the night – Jeremiah Stone-Tyler (106 pounds), Austin Jacobs (113), Murphy Lengkeek (138), Alex Aardema (144), Blair Zimmer (165), Kalan Teeter (175), Colton Smith (190) and Chase Rosema (215).
