The Fruitport volleyball team wrapped up the regular season by posting three victories and reaching the 30-win mark on Saturday at the Sparta Invitational.
The Trojans defeated Comstock Park 25-14, 25-10; Carson City 25-10, 25-6; and Sparta 25-10, 25-14. They lost to Greenville 15-25, 21-25.
The three wins left Fruitport with a 30-13-1 record on the season, heading into this week’s Division 2 district tournament at Montague.
Izzy Hanson-Wilbur had 16 kills on the day for the Trojans while Josalynn Nowicki added 13. Emma Fecher served seven aces and Hanson-Wilbur had six.

Alexa Sweet had 35 assists and Emma Fecher had 31.
Defensively, Porter Johnson led the way with 40 digs while Hanson-Wilbur had 30.
“We’re proud of how we finished our regular season – playing hard, competing as a team, and staying focused,” said Fruitport head coach Nicole Bayle. “The girls are locked in and ready to bring their best volleyball next week as we begin our postseason run.”
The Trojams, who recently clinched their second straight O-K Silver conference championship, will now begin their attempt for a second straight district title.
They will play the winner of the Montague-Oakridge match in the semifinal round on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Montague High School. A victory would put them in Thursday’s district championship match.
