Fruitport finished third in the team standings with a score of 170, 12 shots behind first-place Calvin Christian.

Calvin Christian’s Will Orme and NorthPointe Christian’s Davis Forms both shot a 37 and tied for first place individually.

“It was good to see Tyler play well today,” said Fruitport Coach Aaron Gregory. ‘He has put in a lot of work on his game this offseason. He and Chase were both talking about a few shots they left on the course. If those two build on today, and some of our other players continue to lower their scores, we will be even more competitive this year.”

The Trojans will compete in a tournament at Crystal Mountain this weekend.storageminith brandseddie
