The Ludington girls basketball team snapped a brief two-game losing streak with a big win over Whitehall Tuesday night. Ludington broke the short streak in a big way, beating the Vikings 54-20. 

Ludington led 15-6 after one quarter and 19-10 after a low-scoring second quarter. A 19-4 edge in the third and a 16-6 fourth-quarter advantage allowed the Orioles to pull away.

Emma McKinley had 13 points to lead Ludington, followed by Keelyn Laird with 11 and Annie Kline with nine.

Hailey Carnes led Whitehall with five points, followed by Taylor Ottinger with four. 

Ludington is now 12-5 overall, including a 9-1 mark in the West Michigan Conference Lakes division. Whitehall falls to 10-7 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
