The Muskegon Catholic Central girls basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 42-25 victory over Hesperia on Thursday in non-conference action.
The game was tied 11-11 after one quarter and MCC led 19-15 at halftime and 34-21 after three quarters.
Carrie Ladd led the Crusaders with 15 points while Claire Lavigne added 14.
Lindsay Ladd and Natalie Rich each pulled down five rebounds.
The Crusaders with play Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian on the road on Tuesday.
