A big first half helped Muskegon Catholic wrap up the regular season with a 41-28 victory over Tri County on Friday night.
A 15-yard touchdown run by David Hill was the lone score of the first quarter which gave Muskegon Catholic a 7-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Hill scored on runs of 26-yards and six-yards while Bryan Convertini scored on a four-yard run, giving the Crusaders a 27-0 halftime lead.
Tri County scored 14 unanswered points in the third quarter to cut the Muskegon Catholic lead to 27-14.
Hill scored on a four-yard run with 10:08 remaining to make the score 33-14 in favor of Muskegon Catholic.
Following a Tri County touchdown, Convertini broke loose for a 34-yard rushing touchdown to extend the lead to 41-20.
Hill finished with 177 yards and four touchdowns on 21 rushes while Convertini totaled 151 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.
Sam Kartes led the Crusader defense with 8.5 tackles on the night.
Muskegon Catholic finishes the regular season with a record of 7-2.
