The Whitehall football team was dominant once again on Friday, defeating Fremont 49-8 to pick up yet another victory and improve to 8-0.
The Vikings are now also 5-0 in conference play and have won the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division.
Kyle Stratton found Ca’Mar Ready for a 12-yard touchdown pass to start the scoring on Friday before also scoring on a seven-yard run to give Whitehall a 14-0 lead after one quarter.
In the second quarter, Jackson Cook broke loose for a 56-yard touchdown run while Ready added a 25-yard touchdown run.
Jaiden Altgilbers and Lukas Palmer each had interceptions they returned for touchdowns to give Whitehall a 42-0 halftime lead.
Cook scored on a 26-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to make the score 49-0.
The lone fourth quarter touchdown was by Justin Dirheimer on a 10-yard run for Fremont which ultimately made the final score 49-8.
Stratton finished 7-of-10 passing for 95 yards and a touchdown while adding 65 yards rushing and a score on eight carries.
Cook totaled 85 yards and two touchdowns on five carries while Ready finished with 42 yards receiving and a touchdown on three catches.
