Brooklyn Watts scored the lone goal of the game, giving the Western Michigan Christian girls soccer team a tight 1-0 victory over Muskegon Catholic on Wednesday in a Division 4 district semifinal matchup.
Watts scored the goal on a breakaway early in the game after taking a pass from Emily Mast.
The second half was scoreless. Muskegon Catholic applied a lot of offensive pressure over the last 15 minutes, but WMC goalie Libby Mast was up to the task and preserved the victory.
The Warriors outshot the Crusaders 14-10, and Libby Mast finished with 10 saves.
WMC will host North Muskegon on Friday at 6 p.m. in the district championship game.
