The Ravenna softball team picked up two more wins on Thursday, sweeping a doubleheader against West Michigan Conference rival Montague. Ravenna won by scores of 15-0 and 14-4, improving to 16-0 on the season, including 8-0 in conference play.

Emma Gillard picked up the win in the circle in Game 1, allowing no runs on five hits while punching out eight. Emma Gillard, Emma Herremans and Maddie Kilbourne recorded three hits each, while Ellie Solem and Kara Postema grabbed a pair of hits each.

In Game 2, Herremans picked the win on the mound allowing four runs on five hits while striking out two. Herremans helped her cause at the plate, launching a homer as one of her three hits. Killbourne and Emma Gillard picked up a pair of hits each, while Postema recorded an inside the park home run. 

Hudsonville offense explodes in win over Grand Haven

The Eagles smacked 17 hits in a 14-3 win over Grand Haven in OK Red Conference play on Thursday.

Annika Talsma led the offense, launching two home runs. Megan Beemer, Ella Reifschneider and Lauren Schwallier each had three hits in the game.

Syd Bosgraaf threw a complete game for Hudsonville, allowing three runs on four hits while striking out eight.
