The Whitehall softball team rallied for a 7-6 victory over Coopersville on Wednesday.
The Broncos led 6-3 going into the bottom of the fifth before Whitehall rallied to steal the win.
Kyleigh Martin hit a two-run double to tie the game for Whitehall, then Alexis Taylor singled to drive in Martin with the winning run,
Martin pitched the win, striking out seven and allowing only one earned run.
Hailey Carnes hit her first career homer for Whitehall while Illeana Hatcher had two hits, including a double, while Alyssa Taylor also hit a double.
Mona Shores splits with Zeeland West
The Sailors shined offensively in Game 1, claiming an 11-4 victory. Elizabeth Savacool was dialed in at the plate, leading the Sailors with four hits, including two home runs. Mia Geoghan, Macey Spaniola and Brooklyn Graham added 2 hits apiece.
Kristen Hylland pitched the win, scattering four hits and striking out 10
The Sailors struggled at the plate in Game 2, falling 4-1. Savacool had three hits and freshman Amilia Pena had one.
Hylland took the tough loss on the mound, striking out five and only allowing one earned run,
Spring Lake sweeps a doubleheader from Fruitport in conference play
The Lakers won the first game on Tuesday 13-5. Avery Britt hit a two-run homer in the first inning to set the tone. Alexa Carter also homered for the Lakers. Carter finished with four hits while Tessa Britt and Avery Britt each had three hits. Pitcher Avery Flynn stuck out five in the victory,
Fruitport pitcher Brooklyn Russell struck out nine in the loss.
Spring Lake completed the sweep with a 13-3 victory. Carter had four hits again, while Flynn and Kendra Kieft each added three. Flynn pitched another win, striking out seven.
Riley Lusk had three hits for Fruitport.
Ravenna improves to 9-0 with a 9-1 win over Kent City
Emma Herremans had three hits, including a home run, for Ravenna. Kara Postema, Liberty Willick and Alexis McMahon each added two hits.
Addison Gillard pitched a complete-game victory, allowing only two hits.
Ludington takes two from Cadillac
The Orioles won the first game 10-7. Sam Harrison pitched the win, tossing three innings while scattering five hits and striking out four. Rylee Hardenburgh had a hit and an RBI.
Ludington took the nightcap 16-3. Hailey Lundberg was the starting pitcher and got the win while Sabrina Ramirez closed the game out. Lundberg and Ramirez each had two hits.
