A pair of sparkling pitching performances powered Holton to a doubleheader sweep of White Cloud on Tuesday.
Ryann Robins tossed a no-hitter in the opener, a 17-0 Holton win, and struck out 10 batters. In Game 2, Abby Fowler followed with a perfect game and had 10 strikeouts of her own.
Offensively, Fowler had four hits total, including three in Game 1, while Robbins had two hits including a home run in the second game.
Gianna Reed was 3-for-3 with two doubles in Game 1 and 2-for-3 with another two-bagger in Game 2. Alanna Cregg had three hits, including two triples, on the day, while Grace Thompson had a pair of doubles.
Holton is now 4-2 overall this season, including 4-0 in the CSAA Silver.
