The Reeths-Puffer girls soccer team pulled out a tight 1-0 victory over Allendale on Tuesday, despite playing without four key players, including three starters.

Sophia Hekkema scored the only goal of the game, with an assist by Brooke Bradley.

The Rockets outshot Allendale 12-6, and R-P goalie Tessa Lamphere collected the shutout.

Alyssa Herbert, Grace Goodell, Irelyn Niklash, Ava McDaniel, Ava Klopp, Alyvia Ackerberg, and Hailey Bos were credited with strong defensive play for the Rockets while Billie Tryska and Ashlynn Anderson played solid games at midfield.

HUDSONVILLE 8, GRANDVILLE 0 – Eva Joldersma led a parade of Hudsonville scorers with two goals in the conference victory.

Hudsonville scored three goals in the first half and five in the second, resulting in a short mercy rule finish.

Maislin Joldersma, Kaelyn Dekker, Kendall Aikens, Courtney Conlon, Lexi Armstrong and Cadence Williams also scored for the Eagles.

COOPERSVILLE 6, ORCHARD VIEW 0 – Sydney Greer led the Broncos with two goals and three assists.

Coopersville scored four goals in the first 10 minutes to take control of the contest.

Addison Vogel, Kyren DeVries, Brooklyn Michalak and Mallory Kelly were the other goal scorers for the Broncos.

Goalie Libby Kelly made nine saves to collect the shutout while defenders Emma Burns, Abby Sorenson, Rylin Merlo, Sydney Dunneback, Marissa Langlois and Morgan Hepinstall were credited with strong play.

Orchard View goalie Elizabeth Estelle posted 13 saves on a busy night.

Coopersville is now 2-1 and Orchard View is 0-1.

RAVENNA 2, HOLLAND BLACK RIVER 1 – Kaylyn Eden and Isabelle Emery scored the goals for the Bulldogs.

Ravenna is now 1-0 on the season.

ROCKFORD 4, GRAND HAVEN 1 – The Buccanners had a tough night and lost their O-K Red conference opener.

Tea Sandoval scored the lone Grand Haven goal on a free kick late in the game.
