The Mason County Central girls basketball ended its season on Wednesday night with a 48-41 loss against McBain in a district semifinal contest.
The Spartans led 8-6 after the first quarter but were outscored 15-8 during the second and trailed 21-16 at halftime.
Both teams scored 11 points during the third quarter and Mason County Central was outscored 16-14 during the fourth.
Wren Nelson led the Spartans with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Adria Quigley added eight points and Jaden Petersen scored six.
Mason County Central ended the season with a 14-7 overall record.
