The Kent City girls basketball team capped a perfect regular season with a lopsided win over White Cloud Friday night. The Eagles led 24-5 at halftime and went on to win 50-24.
Kent City finishes the regular season at 20-0, including 10-0 in the CSAA Silver conference. The Eagles will have a bye in the first round of districts and play the winner of Blanchard Montabella and Lakeview on Wednesday.
Taryn Preston led Kent City with 19 points, while Lexie Bowers added 14.
