The Fruitport bowling teams both picked up dominating wins against Grand Rapids Union on Monday night. The girls team won by a score of 30-0, while the boys took home a comfortable 29-1 win.

Raegan Dykstra led the girls with scores of 180 and 165. Brynna Hanson bowled a 157 and Rylee Lusk scored a 148.

Jray Conklin led the boys team with a 213 and 180, followed by Brandon Krohn with a 209 and 162 and Gage Wadland scoring 196.

GIRLS

RAVENNA 23, MONTAGUE 7 — The Bulldogs were led by Emily Linck with a series score of 320, followed by Liberty Willick with a 298 and Allison Phillips with a 295. Mae Mabrito rolled a 279 series, while Kendra Denhof scored 275.

LUDINGTON 18, WHITEHALL 12 — The Orioles were led by Heidi Faust with a series score of 283 in the win. Abigail Ashley followed with a series of 266 and Karly Gokey rolled a 212. Elecia Byrd had a single-game score of 106 for Ludington.

FREMONT 30, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 0 — The Packers swept the match against MCC, which had just one bowler available due to illness. Sophia Romine led Fremont with a 141, followed closely by Makayla Johnson with a 138.

BOYS 

MONTAGUE 28, RAVENNA 2 — Dylan Gordon rolled games of 165 and 161 to lead the Bulldogs. Josiah Kantola added a 161, Caleb Jonas rolled a 149 and Matt Anton had a series score of 244.

WHITEHALL 27, LUDINGTON 3 — Cameron Fetters was the top Oriole bowler with a series score of 364. Damion Ott followed with a 270 series and Nick Wysong totaled 222. Lucas Ruggero had a score of 214 and Amari George totaled 186.

FREMONT 20, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 10 — Despite being short-handed for the night, the Packers came away with the win. Ashton Yahusz led the way with games of 204 and 178. Gabe VanVleet rolled a 166 for the Packers.
