The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team stormed back in the fourth quarter to open conference play with a victory Friday night. Trailing by six heading to the final frame, the Rockets took over and came back to top Wyoming 59-51.
Reeths-Puffer led 13-9 after one quarter, but fell behind 27-26 at halftime. The Wolves extended their lead to 40-34 heading to the fourth. It was all Rockets in the final quarter, however, as R-P grabbed a 25-11 edge to flip the game.
Jaxson Whitaker led the Rockets with 19 points and six assists, while Logan Brooks scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds. Travis Ambrose turned in a huge performance with 11 points, 13 rebounds and eight blocks.

Reeths-Puffer is now 4-1 on the season and starts O-K Green conference play 1-0.
O-K GREEN
MONA SHORES 58, GRAND RAPIDS UNION 46 — The Sailors led the whole way to pick up a win in their conference opener against GR Union. Mona Shores led 15-9 after one quarter, 33-23 at halftime and 46-30 heading to the final frame.
Parker Swartz led the way offensively with 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Keontae Richards added nine points, three rebounds and three assists. Ethan Krueger added eight points and five assists, while JT Foster totaled six points and seven rebounds.
Mona Shores is now 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in the O-K Green.
O-K BLUE
SPRING LAKE 58, FRUITPORT 37 — The Lakers dominated early and cruised to the win in the O-K Blue opener for both teams. The Lakers led 20-6 after the first quarter, 32-15 at halftime and 43-22 after three quarters.
Porter Saunders had a big game for the Lakers, totaling 15 points, 11 rebounds, six steals and three assists. Eli Morrison scored in double-figures with 10 points. Kaden George had seven points and seven rebounds, while Jackson Core finished with six points and six rebounds.
Andrew Spyke led the Trojans with eight points and seven rebounds. Bode Anspach also scored eight points, while Ryan Laus added seven and Collin Jolman scored six.
Spring Lake improved to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the O-K Blue, while Fruitport falls to 4-2 and 0-1 in the conference.
