Jaxson Whitaker hit a pair of free throws with less than 20 seconds remaining, giving the Reeths-Puffer boys baskdetball team an excting 51-50 non-conference win over Forest Hills Northern on Friday night.
Forest Hills Northern led 14-10 after one quarter and Reeths-Puffer led 24-23 at halftime and 38-29 heading into the fourth.

The Rockets led by 10 points with about four minutes left before Forest Hills Northern stormed back to take a lead in the last minute. Whitaker’s free throws put R-P back on top, then a last second shot by the Huskies missed the mark and Travis Ambrose got the defensive board to secure the victory.
Whitaker led the Rockets with 18 points and three assists, Ambrose scored a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds and Coby Mitchelson scored nine points.
