The Mona Shores girls basketball team claimed its second win of the season with a 62-35 victory over Sault Area on Saturday in a game played in Cheboygan.
The Sailors led 13-10 after one quarter and 23-13 at halftime, then sealed things up with a huge 27-8 advantage in the third quarter.
Olivia Sobczak paced Mona Shores with 21 points, Jenna Tierman added 11, Khaleeya Cook scored 10 and Lily Miller chipped in nine.
The Sailors (2-1) will return to action on Tuesday when they host Grand Haven.
