The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team captured a Division 4 district title on Thursday after beating Pentwater in three straight sets.
The Crusaders were led by Erin LaVigne with 11 kills while Cara Burkall added nine. Claire LaVigne chipped in with four aces and 18 assists.
MCC was paced defensively by Emma Maierhauser with 11 digs.
The Crusaders are now 23-12 on the season and will face Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart on Tuesday in the regional semifinals at Brethren High School.
