The Grand Haven football team fell 49-14 to Hudsonville on Friday night in an O-K Red Conference matchup.

The Buccaneers trailed 21-0 after one quarter and 35-0 at halftime.

After Hudsonville made the score 42-0, Ryan Francis punched in a one-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to 42-7 with 2:54 left in the third.

After falling behind 49-7 in the fourth quarter, Francis scored on a 73-yard rushing touchdown to close out the scoring for the night,.

Francis finished with 169 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for Grand Haven while Owen Worthington totaled 60 yards on 10 carries.

Grand Haven is now 3-4 overall on the season and will travel to East Kentwood next week.
