Muskegon Catholic Central defeated Orchard View in straight sets in Lakes 8 volleyball action Tuesday night. The Crusaders won by set scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-13.
Erin LaVigne led MCC with 16 kills, while Claire LaVigne had 26 assists and eight digs. Emma Maierhauser finished with 11 digs to lead the Crusaders. Natalie Rich totaled seven aces.
Orchard View was led by Faith Laventure and McKenzie Covington with five kills each. Meghan Tenhove added three kills and four assists. Aleyah Jones led the Cardinals with 11 digs, while Marti Parascondolo added 10.
Muskegon Catholic Central moves to 16-10 and 3-1 in the conference.
