Fruitport’s Christian Pavlige wins another race, this time at the Fremont Hill and Bale

Fruitport cross country runner Christian Pavlige took the top spot again, this time on Saturday, finishing in first place individually at the Hill and Bale Invitational in Fremont.

Pavilige, who also took first at a conference meet last week, finished with a time of 17:19.

The Fruitport boys squad  finished in fourth place in the team standings with a score of 85, behind host Fremont (42), Shepherd (43) and Potter’s House (72).

Holton (152), Hesperia (162) and Muskegon (166) rounded out the rest of the field.

The Trojans had four runners finish among the top 30.

Junior Dylan Winskas finished in sixth place with a time of 18:32, freshman Corbin Jansheski was  23rd with a time of 20:15 and freshman Landon Przybylek was 27th with a time of 20:27.

Sophomore Carlos Cavero Rosel finished in 40th place with a time of 22:4 and Junior Damon Marksbury was in 53rd place with a time of 24:42.
