The Fruitport boys tennis team defeated Comstock Park 7-1 on Friday in O-K Silver conference action.
All four doubles teams picked up wins for the Trojans while three of the four singles players were also successful.
No. 1 singles Remy Parker won 6-2 and 6-2 while No. 2 singles Nathan Medema won 6-0 and 7-6.
No. 3 singles Bruno Nivoloni posted a 6-1 and 6-1 victory.

In doubles action, the No. 1 team of Jackson Yandell and Johnathan Quigg won 6-3 and 6-2 while the No. 2 team of Dominik Kooy and Evan Olson won 6-1 and 6-2.
No. 3 doubles team of Brian Meeuwenberg and Tucker Gholson won 6-2 and 6-0 while No. 4 doubles team of Carson Vallie and Elijah Wierenga won via default.
“Comstock Park is a good team win,” said head coach Brad Busscher about the victory. “All the flights contributed to the victory. The guys played a determined match, and we’ll have to continue that fight to take down our upcoming opponents as we finish the season.”
The Trojans weren’t as successful on Monday, falling 7-1 NorthPointe Christian in another conference match.

The lone victory for Fruitport came at No. 3 singles, where Nivoloni lost the first set to NorthPointe’s Cole Miller 5-7, then rallied to win the next two and the match, 6-2, 6-2.
Medema fought three hard sets before losing at No. 2 singles.
The Trojans are now 3-3 overall on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
