The Fruitport cross country team was pretty dominant on Saturday, easily taking the championship in the big school White Division at the Oakridge Invitational.
The Trojans, who had the top two runners in the event, finished with 40 points, easily outdistancing second-place Reeths-Puffer (56 points).
Senior Zoe German beat out 42 other runners and took first place with a time of 19:21.
Junior Peyhton Beardsley took second place with a time of 20:35.

Sophomore Aynsley Merkins came in 10th place with a time of 22:02 while junior Bailey Heistand was 11th with a mark of 22:17.
Senior Chloey Kohley came in 16th place with a time of 23:21 while Gen Franklin was 21st with a time of 23:40.
All six of those Trojan runners won medals for their performance.
“The girls ran great races, with everyone running their personal best of the season,” said Fruitport coachy Randy Johnson.
