[3]Coach Dan Hazekamp said Hayden Taylor, Connor King, Roger Camp and Hazekamp played solid on the backline, while Quincy McDaniels, Cole Luker and Gavin Wilson stood out in the field.
“It was a solid start to the season against two great teams,” Coach Hazekamp said. “Gritty effort from the boys to dig deep during the second game of a back-to-back.
“Our entire squad played a part in finding a way to earn wins today. We have another two tough teams again tomorrow. Hoping we can dig deep and learn more about where we are at.”
The Trojans will close out the weekend on Saturday with games against Notre Dame Prep and Grass Lake.
