It’s happening again.
Earlier in the season the Fruitport girls soccer team won six straight games and did not give up a goal. Then the Trojans lost once.
Since that loss, they have won four straight games without giving up a goal. In that span they have outscored opponents 20-0.
The latest shutout came on Wednesday when Fruitport downed Fremont 3-0 in non-conference action.
[1]Regan Wilson led off the scoring late in first half and the Trojans were up 1-0 at the break.
Peyhton Beardsley added two goals in the second half – one early and one late – to sew up the victory.
Myla Parker and Porter Johnson both had assists for the Trojans.
Fruitport now has 11 shutout victories this season, which is two shy of the program record.
The Trojans, now 11-3 on the season, will host Reeths-Puffer on Saturday morning.
