The Fruitport girls soccer team is working on a new winning streak.
Not long ago the Trojans ripped off six straight victories before falling to NorthPointe Christian in an O-K Silver conference first-place showdown.
They got right back to business since that disappointing loss, however, winning three straight, including Monday’s 8-0 victory over Belding in conference action.

Fruitport is now 10-3 overall and 6-1 in the O-K Silver standings. They are one game behind NorthPointe Christian.
Porter Johnson and Ava Vanveelan led the Trojan attack against Belding with two goals apiece.
Regan Wilson,. Violet Olinghouse, Myla Parker and Peyhton Beardsley each had one goal.

Parker also had two assists.
Fruitport goalie Ava Powell recorded her 10th shutout of the season.
The Trojans will visit Fremont on Wednesday and Reeths-Puffer on Saturday in a pair of non-conference games.
