It was a clean sweep for the Fruitport track program on Tuesday.
The girls team opened the conference season with victories over three opponents (as noted in an earlier headline), and the boys team followed suit.
The Trojan boys defeated Godwin Heights 89-47, Calvin Christian 86-51 and NorthPointe Christian 97-40.
Four Trojans won their events – Johnnie Kempker in the 100-meter dash (11.43 seconds), Christian Pavlige in the 800-meter run (2:06.46), Luke Westerlund in the shot put (45 feet, 10 inches) and Emmitt Renauldo in the pole vault (12 feet, 6 inches).

Kempker and Renauldo are freshmen and brand new to varsity.
Fruitport’s 4×400 relay team (Nathaniel Cribley-Cotto, Damien Jones, Pavlige and Ryder Merkins) also won its event with a time of 3:44.51.
Individuals who took second place for Fruitport were Alan Jackson (100 and 400 meters), Cribley-Cotto (200 meters), Westerlund (discus) and Ryder Chan (pole vault).

Two Trojan relay teams took second place – the 4×100 team (Jackson, SeanPaul OBrien, Kempker and Cribley-Cotto) along with the 4×200 team (OBrien, Cribley-Cotto, Kempker and Jones).
Individuals taking third place for Fruitport were Merkins (800 meters), Braylon Richards (110 hurdles), Chase Rosema (shot put) Rosema (discus and) Jones (high jump).
The 4×800 relay team (Pavlige, Dylan Winskas, Landon Johnson and Merkins) also finished third.
