The Fruitport volleyball team had to battle against Kelloggsville for one set on Thursday, but then took complete control as the match went on.
The Trojans won the second and third sets easily, claimed a 3-0 victory and improved to 5-0 in O-K Silver conference standings.
The set scores were 25-20, 25-10, 25-4.

“Tonight our kids came out and got their groove back offensively!” said Fruitport head coach Nicole Bayle, whose teams is now 19-7-1 overall. “It was a great conference win. I am happy with our bounce-back tonight. It was great to see our kids working hard and having fun as a team.”
Izzy Hanson-Wilbur again led the Trojans with 12 kills while Ellie Stroup and Emma Danicek each had eight.
Emma Fecher set up the offense with 22 assists. Danicek served four aces.
Clair Ludlow and Porter Johnson led the defensive effort with 14 digs apiece. [3]
