The Fruitport volleyball team took a break from conference competition to host three area teams on Wednesday and came away with three more wins.
The Trojans downed Hart 25-19, 25-10 and Fremont 25-20, 28-26, then took three sets to defeat North Muskegon 26-24, 23-25, 25-17.
Fruitport improved to 18-7-1 on the season.

Izzy Hanson-Wilbur led the team with 21 kills, Ellie Stroup had 18 and Emma Danicek added 12.
Danicek served nine aces. Emma Fecher had 39 assists and Alexa Sweet added 15.
Defensively, Porter Johnson had 46 digs and Regan Wilson had 33.

“I’m really proud of how our team came together tonight,” said Fruitport Coach Nicole Bayle. “We grinded out three hard fought wins against quality opponents in North Muskegon, Hart, and Fremont.
“Emma Danicek really stepped up big for us, and the whole team fed off that energy. We played with a lot of grit and teamwork tonight.”
Trojans will return to conference play on Thursday night against Kelloggsville.
