The Fruitport softball team can win in a lot of ways.

Lately the Trojans have been pounding out lots of hits and winning by big margins.

On Friday, however, they showed they could play from behind and gut out a win, even when things go wrong.

“I told Brooklyn I had one word to describe her performance tonight, and that was wow,” said Fruitport Coach Bob Dorman. “She never stopped battling and when we took the lead, she shut them down in the seventh.

“I shared with the team that they were the true definition of relentless. The score didn’t matter. They kept on course, stayed focused and battled.”all the way through the seventh.”minith brandseddiestorage
