The Fruitport girls tennis team was clicking on all cylinders on Thursday, resulting in a resounding 8-0 victory over Comstock Park in O-K Silver conference action.
The Trojans won seven of the eight matches in straight sets.
The victors in singles were Josalynn Nowicki (No. 1), Emma Fecher (No. 2), Tara Sweet (No. 3) and Gracie Farrell (No. 4).
Winning in doubles were Rylee Rufener and Lena Saffell (No. 1), Bailey Poort and Abby Poort (No. 2), Cara Hooker and Brystol TenHove (No. 3) and Jordan Smith and Mylee Mineni (No. 4).
“We are gaining some traction and played a better strategic match,” said Fruitport Coach Brad Busscher.
The Trojans will host the Fruitport Invitational on Saturday.
