Tuesday brought more of the same for the undefeated Fruitport baseball team, which dominated a doubleheader against Godwin Heights, earning a sweep with wins of 11-0 and 15-0.

Fruitport is now 8-0 on the season, with all eight victories coming in games shortened due to the mercy rule.

Ryan Bosch pitched a six-inning perfect game in the opener with 16 strikeouts in the 18 batters he faced.

Braxton Ward and Avery Lambers both had three hits to lead the offense, while Hudson Hazekamp and Dexter Lillmars each had two. Fruitport scored six runs in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 11-0 and end the game early.

In Game 2, Fruitport wasted no time jumping out to a big lead. The Trojans scored eight times in the top of the first inning en route to a 15-0, three-inning win.

Hazekamp took the mound for Game 2 and earned the win with three shutout innings. He allowed one hit and struck out four.

Lambers had two hits, including a home run, and  had three RBIs in the nightcap. Bosch added two doubles and three RBIs. Hazekamp, Satchel Norwood and Jax Flynn each drove in two runs.

Fruitport is now 8-0 on the young season, with all eight games being against O-K Silver conference opponents. The Trojans have won each game by at least 10 runs and have outscored opponents 124-9.storageminith brandseddie
