Fruitport girls bowling team comes to life and claims its second win of the season, 21-3 over Comstock Park

The Fruitport girls bowling team picked up its second win of the season in style on Monday, beating Comstock Park 21-3 in O-K Silver conference action.

The Trojans turned the tables on a team that beat them by 26 points earlier in the season.

Fruitport swept both baker games and the bonus points to take an early 10-0 lead.

The Trojans also swept both of the regular games, 556-349 and 587-312.

Gen Franklin, Maddy Smith and Kyleigh O’Connell won their head-to-head matchups in Game 1, with O’Connell logging a high score of 125.

Franklin, Smith, O’Connell and Harper Simila won their matchups in Game 2, with Simila rolling a team-high 140 game.

“Huge congrats to the girls team for picking up their second win of the season!” said Fruitport Coach Tim McKeeby. “We were focused and had a lot of fun bowling our best. Congrats to Harper Simila for having two games over 120.”
