The Fruitport boys bowling team snapped a frustrating losing streak with a nice 23-7 conference win over Calvin Christian on Wednesday.
The victory followed a 26-4 loss to Kelloggsville on Monday, which was the third straight defeat for the Trojans.
Fruitport is now 6-3 overall and 4-3 in O-K Silver conference play.
The Trojans were all business on Wednesday, winning the first of two baker games 190-124, then winning both regular games, 901-701 and 835-788.
Keenan Camp, Zach Durakovic and Corbin Judd won their individual matchups in Game 1. Camp bowled a team-high game of 232.

Camp, Dylan Winskas and Michael Hanson all won their matchups in Game 2.
The Trojans added to their score by winning the bonus points for total pins in the baker rounds and regular games.
“We are super excited to get back into the win column,” said Fruitport Coach Tim McKeeby. “We were outbowled on Monday, but bounced back on Wednesday. Our perseverance prevailed. Shout out to co-captain Michael Hanson for having a great day on Wednesday. Congratulations to Keenan Camp for having two amazing games. Keenan has put in a lot of time and effort, we are happy that his hard work is paying off.”
The Fruitport girls lost to Kelloggsville 21-9 on Monday. They did not compete on Wednesday.
Gen Franklin, Kadie Juska, Mia Herrygers and Kaitlyn Bourdon all win individual games for Fruitport. Franklin bowled a high score of 115.
