The Fruitport girls bowling team posted its first victory of the season on Wednesday, rolling past NorthPointe Christian 25-5 in an O-K Silver conference match.
The Trojans swept both baker rounds and the bonus, earning 10 points.’
They won the first regular game 397-305, earning four points. Kyleigh O’Connell, Mya Herrygers and Gen Franklin each won head-to-head matches, earning one point apiece.
Franklin led Fruitport in Game 1 with a 102 score.

Fruitport won the second regular game 393-385 and earned four more points. Kaitlyn Bourdon and Joe Pider won their head-to-head matchups and secured two more team points.
Pider led the Trojans in the game with a105 score.
Fruitport also won the two-point bonus for the combined regular game pin fall.
The Trojans, now 1-1 on the season, will play Belding on Monday. [3]
