The Fruitport boys soccer team continues to roll, and the shutouts keep piling up.
The Trojans ran their record to 14-0 on Thursday with an easy 5-0 victory over host Montague in non-conference action.
The shutout was the ninth in a row for the Trojans, who are ranked No. 1 in the state in Division 2. They went 13 games without giving up a goal last season.
Goalkeepers Logan Werschem and Mason Kettel both played and shared the shutout.
Fruitport settled the issue early with four goals in the first half.
Two of those goals came from Carter Gregor while Isaac VanderMolen and Jorge Burgos-Yack each had one.
Burgos Yack scored another goal in the second half.
Hudson Hazekamp and Ryder Merkins each had two assists for the Trojans.
Fruitport will travel to Spring Lake for a rivalry game on Saturday before opening the O-K Silver conference tournament on Tuesday at home against Hopkins.
