The Fruitport baseball team had a frustrating Tuesday, dropping a pair of O-K Blue conference games to Holland Christian by scores of 3-2 and 2-0.
Trevor Rusnak pitched well for the Trojans in Game 1, scattering six hits and only two earned runs over six innings. Ryan Bosch and Braxton Ward had two hits apiece.
The Trojans left a lot of runners in scoring position in the Game 2 loss. Fruitport again got good pitching, this time from Hudson Hazekamp, who tossed five innings while only giving up one hit and strikeout out four.
Bosch had another two hits in the second game.
Fruitport, now 3-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play, will host Holland Christian to wrap up the series on Thursday.
