The Fruitport wrestling team went 1-1 on Wednesday night, dropping an O-K Blue conference match 73-6 to Hamilton, then beating Wyoming 48-33 in non-conference action.
Wrestlers who went 1-1 on the night for the Trojans were Ryder Chan, Davis Johnson, Kyle Holt, Blair Zimmer, Bryson Simila, Cooper Langkeek and Jayden Perry.
“It was a humbling night for us,” said head coach Chad Johnson about the results of the conference match. “We will get back in the practice room tomorrow and work to get back on track.”
The Trojans will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Hart for an invitational tournament.
