The Fruitport boys soccer team posted a remarkable sixth straight shutout on Thursday, defeating Montague 8-0 in a non-conference matchup.
The Trojans have not given up a goal since Sept. 13 in a game against Coopersville.
[1]Taylen Acocks and Brady Brown each scored twice while Ryan Mitchell, Isaac Vandermolen, Grade Anspach and Jorge Burgos-Yack added single goals.
Anspach, Burgos-Yack and Elijah Aldridge were credited with assists. Goalie Logan Werschem got the shutout.
Fruitport, now 12-2-2, will host Hamilton on Monday in an O-K Blue conference game.
