Fruitport girls cross country teams takes fourth place in first conference meet, Dykstra and Lee finish in the top 10

The Fruitport girls cross country team finished fourth in the first O-K Blue Conference Jamboree of the season on Wednesday, hosted by Spring Lake.

The Trojans finished with a score of 95 with senior Tatum Dykstra leading the way with a second-place individual finish. Dykstra finished with a time of 19:35.80 while senior Lauren Lee finished 10^th overall with a time of 20:40.40.

Junior Valerie Pollock finished 20^th with a time of 21:27.90 while senior Tresa Dykstra was 38^th overall with a time of 22:56.60.

Rounding out the Trojans’ scoresheet was sophomore Kaylynn Pavlige with a time of 23:002, good  for 42^nd place overall.

The Trojans will next be in action on Saturday when they travel to compete in the Grand Rapids Covenant Christian Invitational.   ^[2]
