The Oakridge baseball team picked up a pair of wins in a doubleheader sweep of West Michigan Conference Lakes Division foe Orchard View on Tuesday. Oakridge won both games by a score of 10-2. 

Oakridge scored six runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth to take control of Game 1. Evan Miller and Brody Jennings both had two hits and two RBI. Arturo Romero Serrano added a two-RBI single. 

Jennings took the win on the mound, allowing one earned one and striking out five. 

Noah Smith had two hits for Orchard View.

Matt Danicek was the winning pitcher for the Eagles in Game 2. He also starred at the plate with three hits, three RBI and a run scored.

Gage Lowry added two hits, two runs and two RBI for Oakridge. Ryan Cribbins drove in a pair, while Jennings had an RBI and two runs scored. 

North Muskegon dominates Shelby in doubleheader

North Muskegon: John Caliendo two hits, four RBI. Pitcher Bronson Hurst 10 strikeouts.

GAME 2: NORTH MUSKEGON 11, SHELBY 1

North Muskegon: Denny Belmonte two hits, two RBI. Pitcher Kylan Nielsen one hit allowed. 

Ludington, Manistee split doubleheader

LUDINGTON: Nathan Dillehay two hits, one RBI, seven innings pitched, four strikeouts.

Kent City splits doubleheader with Central Montcalm

KC: Troy Atwood three hits, three runs scored. Pitcher Kyler Larson shutout, 16 strikeouts.

Spring Lake drops two close games against Unity Christian

GAME 1: UNITY CHRISTIAN 2, SPRING LAKE 1

Spring Lake: Zane Stahl 6.1 innings pitched, seven strikeouts, three hits allowed. Zach Schlepp hit, RBI.
Unity Christian: Scored tying run in the sixth, walk-off single in the seventh.

GAME 2: UNITY CHRISTIAN 4, SPRING LAKE 0

Spring Lake: Zane Stahl two hits, including a triple. Gerrit Lyyski four hits allowed, 10 strikeouts.
