Mona Shores locked up the O-K Green girls soccer title with a shutout win over Zeeland West Wednesday night. The game was started April 20, suspended due to weather and finished Wednesday with Mona Shores winning 4-0.

The Sailors led 1-0 with 8 minutes left in the first half when the game was suspended. They added three more goals Wednesday to make the final 4-0.

Ava Freye, Lilly Houle, Addison Fisher and Shay Norden each scored for Mona Shores. Fisher, Katie Phillips and Ella Kinney each had an assist. Goalie Jersey VanderWall posted her eighth shutout of the season. 

With the win, Mona Shores secured the outright O-K Green championship. The Sailors finish conference play unbeaten at 6-0-1. Reeths-Puffer finished league play at 5-1-1 and Zeeland West and Zeeland East both finished 4-1-2. 

Mona Shores, now 9-1-1 on the season, will next face Unity Christian Friday. The Crusaders are the top ranked team in Division 3.
