The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Grand Rapids Covenant Christian on Wednesday, winning Game 1 7-6 but losing 11-1 in Game 2.
Bryan Convertini gave up one hit and three runs to pick up the victory in the first game while Landon Luchies added a double and two runs.
Braden Gustin had an RBI double to lead the offensive attack in Game 2.
The Crusaders are now 3-1-1 on the season.
