The Mona Shores softball team dropped its first game in conference play Tuesday, but bounced back for a lopsided win in the second game of the doubleheader. 

Mona Shores took on Wyoming Tuesday and lost the opener 3-0 before picking up an 11-1 win in the nightcap.

In Game 1, Grace Michelli had nine strikeouts while allowing seven hits. Mia Geoghan, Brooklyn Graham and Kristen Hylland each had one hit.

Michelli pitched again in Game 1, this time allowing just two hits. Maggie McCarthy stepped up at the plate with a 3-for-3 night, including two home runs. Geoghan, Graham, Maddy Russell and Amelia Pena each had two hits in the second game.

Mona Shores is now 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the O-K Green.
